Hello everybody!

I have a Studiolive 16.4.2...as you know it has a firewire 800 interface, so it doesn't allows high performances of Buffer Sizes or latency. So i decided to buy an HDSPe AES because of his AES inputs...i think that this will allow me to use the 16 AES outputs from the Presonus Studiolive, either the firewire.

The first question is, if this is possible or i am just hallucinating?

In the other hand, i have a Digi 003 (firewire too)...so i was thinking if the HDSPe AES + Presonus works...i could link the digi and the Presonus via Firewire, to get even more inputs (8 more...4mic pres and 4 digital inputs)

So the second question, will be...if this also will work? or i have to buy in that case a HDSPe MADI...to connect via optical fiber the out of the digi 003 to the in of the RME MADI?
