Topic: Headphone output problem

Hi i have the fireface UC with Firmware : v116 and driver version : 1.76 on a macbook pro 2012 with OSX 10.7.5

The problem is the headphone output just sounds terrible the volume is very low and it sounds like audio through an old telephone so i was just wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem and if so how can i rectify this problem i have had the unit for nearly 8 months and its been fine i did just update the drivers so im wondering is it bad drivers or is it a faulty unit

Did you check the settings (mixing/routing) in TotalMix?

Would that effect the output of the headphones?, the new control room level has thrown me off a bit and now i am totally confused im not sure if i have this set up correctly it was fine unless i clicked something i shouldn't have is there any way to reset all the setting back to factory default so i can start again in setting this up i hope this is all it is and would it help if i posted a screen grab of my settings
