I have a Babyface on the way. I was wondering if it will work on my laptop which only has usb 3.0 ports, no other ports (Asus G75). I am running Windows 8 (official release 64 bit). The usb controller is Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller. I have already returned a product from Native Instruments that didnt work as their interfaces are not supported on usb 3.0. From my understanding usb 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0 devices EXCEPT audio interfaces. Im hoping the RME will work, will it? I can also downgrade to Win 7 if need be but will still be using usb 3.0 ports as this is all my laptop has.
