Topic: Fireface 400 - wired static noises

hey there,

i got windows 7 64 bit on core i7 860/ 2.80GHz, 8GB pc.
i use fireface 400 driver number 3.0.67.0

everytime i turn on the card i hear strange static noises from the speakers. everytime i do something in the pc the noise is changing, it is like the fireface make a static sounds when the pc cpu is changing.
i've looked for an answer online but nothing stoped it yet.
i can't work at night because i need to work with a real high volume to avoid this annoying sound.

it happened just after i made an update, i've tried to roll back but nothing sad

i really need an answer fast

thanks an advance
itay

Re: Fireface 400 - wired static noises

I think this is due to the disk controller making noise. I have the same problem. If you watch your disk light, it will be in sync with FF400. I use shielded FW cables and most of the noise is gone, but not all of it.
