Topic: HDSPe Firmware update with Windows 8

Hi,

I tried to update the firmware on a HDSPe AIO and it didn't work with Windows 8. It freezes at "erasing sector 9".
Luckily, it doesn't destroy the card and I succesfuly update the firmware with windows 7.

Have you got win 7 and 8 running on the same PC?

No, I flashed the Hdspe on another computer.

After my first post, I insert the Hdspe back in the W8 computer and I had others problems with it. So it's perhaps another problem. I choose another Pci-e slot and everything is ok now.
Strange...

I will make others tests, but it seems that the Hdspe doesn't work correctly in the Pci-e x1 slots on the Intel DX79SI motherboard. I'll keep you informed.

Hmmm, I had the same behaviour as this. I will try the ASPM thing.
