Topic: RME Multiface+Mountain Lion = no output

Hey there. I recently installed Mountain Lion on my Mac Pro (gen. 2008) and installed the driver from your website, for my RME Multiface HDSPe and flashed the firmware. I see that the mixer console and the asio program starts up, but in "System settings" I can't select a output for my soundcard, only the generic mac outputs. What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance, -FRed

If "ASIO program" refers to the HDSP settings, what exactly do you see there? Is the HOST LED on the MF on? Have you tried the card in another slot? Which driver exactly did you install?

Re: RME Multiface+Mountain Lion = no output

I installed this driver:

From the HDSPe download page -

Mac OS X Intel driver. Supports 10.5 in 32 bit, 10.6 in 32 bit/64 bit and 10.7.

Version 3.04 09/07/2012    hdspe_x86_304.zip

And it installs perfectly (the soundcard is working perfectly if I put in my old harddrive with Lion on it). Also there is no lights in the soundcard - as it should be right? But still no option to select it in the "General settings" so I can use it in Logic.
