Topic: activating the Advanced Remote Control with UCX

I'm running driver 3.069 and TotalMix FX 0.968 RC3 hardware version 0.23 and my ARC just arrived.

I've powered everything off, installed the ARC and powered PC and UCX back on but none of the status lights work.

I've also tried something simple like using recall for volume and that does not appear to work either.

Do I need to do something to activate the remote control?

Changing key commands etc...in TotalMix has no effect on the remote.

The one thing that functions is that the main rotary encoder controls the volume, but pressing the rotary encoder does not "dim" the volume.

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

Looks like the ARC is broken. Check that the pins in the connector are not bended. And please note that 23 is not enough to identify a current firmware. DSP version 200...

Settings dialog - About. Or start the firmware flash update tool.
