Windows 8 crashes sad when playing any audio file with a Fireface 400 (WDM or ASIO mode)
BSOD error ==> WDF_VIOLATION

Fireface 400 connected to an Fireware 1394A ExpressCard (EXSYS EX-6603E)

Make sure you have PCIe power savings options in the BIOS and in Windows disabled...

Daniel,

I can't change PCIe power savings in the InsydeH2O BIOS. Many setup parameters are hidden by this "OEM" BIOS.

After disabling the PCIe power savings options in Windows + Laptop reboot ==> same problem, Windows 8 crashes and same "WDF_VIOLATION" error.

For information : My FF400 works very well connected to my Desktop (Windows 7 Family Premium 64 bits - VIA 1394a chipset - Mobo ASUS P7P55D Deluxe - same FF400 driver version)
