Topic: No 'ASIO Hammerfall DSP' audio device after driver install

Hi.

I got a questions, which someone hopeful can help me with.

we got 1 PC with a Hammerfall DSP Multiface II, we use the 'ASIO Hammerfall DSP' to verifywhich we use to verify some sound and it works great.

We got another setup with a Hammerfall DSP Multiface II, but on this other setup after installing the newest drivers. I dont have the 'ASIO Hammerfall DSP' audio device when listing devices with portaudio.

Both setups are with WinXP sp3

I tried looking around on the net, and can't find any help for it. Hopeful someone here knows something i can try, or point me in the right direction.

Hi Nicolai,

IS the HOST error LED lit up on the Multiface? Do you see the Multiface listed in Device Manager under "Sound, Video and Game controllers"?

#2 There is no light in any of the lamps on the front of it. In device manager under Sound,Video... I see it as 'RME Hammerfall DSP' and device status is 'This device is working properly'. I hope you have some ideas or things to try.

Is this specific to Portaudio? Do the ASIO inputs appear in ASIO applications like Reaper or so?
