Topic: M32 D/A & analog console

Hi, this is my first post..
I own some RME sound card and converters and I'm very happy with them (FF800;UFX; ADI8ds; ADI8AE).
I have a real opportunity to buy an M32 DA, I'm on a MacBook, and I'm considering a Madiface... How can I connect my Mytek adc96 for convert back from the console?
At the moment I'll use only 16 channels with the M32 via adat from Ff800 or UFX but in case of madiface, how can I do?

Thanks in advance!!

Re: M32 D/A & analog console

well.. try to explain better..
What I have in mind is something like this:

Macbook---> Madiface ---> analog console channels--> Console Master out---> Mytek ADC96---> back to Macbook via built in Digital IN

I suppouse I have to create an audio aggregate, isn't it?
otherwise I immagine I have to convert the AES out of my Mytek in madi format, but I need one more box to do that, right?

Thank for your support..

Re: M32 D/A & analog console

MADIface only has MADI and word clock connectors. For connecting AES you need a format converter. As far as I know FF800 und UFX won't help, as they don't share the same driver with the MADIface and therefor cannot be used simultaneously with the MADIface (at least with ASIO, but I don't know about MAC, only PC).

Thanks for your reply!
Maybe Raydat seams a good option with adat to feed the M32 and spidf for AD conversion from Mytek..

Will see

He's on a Macbook, but it might still work with one of these: http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=11282
