Had an issue with my FFUC which I managed to solve so I thought I'd share here in case someone comes across it.

I have windows 7 and have always updated the drivers to the latest version. Today after plugging in a USB hub my fireface wasn't recognized anymore by windows.

When I would turn the fireface on I would get a "USB Device not recognized" message, and in the device manager I would not see the Fireface UC but instead I saw "unknown device".

Seems the problem was that the two USB ports (the one I used for the hub, and the one next to it I used for the fireface) are sharing resources somehow. When I did a switch and moved the hub to a different port, and put a mouse in it's place - everything got back to working. Just to clarify - I was not connecting my fireface VIA the hub. They were connected on two separate ports which seemed to be sharing resources internally.
