Topic: Digital noise ( pops )

I own A UFX and run the latest drivers / firmware on a Windows 8 system ( USB connexion )


Pluggging a guitar into Mic input set to inst. and going to Cubase Artist 7,  I hear random pops as I  play. This occurs when recording or not.

Using AES out to Dynaudio AIR 20 monitors. i'm thinking clock issues ? should I be using an external clock ? Or is this something other ...

Thanks for any leads on this

System uses SSD dirves in Stripe set, Xeon 4 core processor and 12 gig of ram.

Same here, but I use Ableton Live and I use a Mic and no Guitar.
If I change the Sample Rate from 44100 to 48000 and than back to 44100 the Pops are gone.

(Klingt wie eine Entladung von einem Kondensator... Immer ETWAS anders, aber immer Chronisch)

Tried the latest driver 1.028? Flashed latest firmware?

V341 is not enough info. The DSP firmware must be 151.
