Topic: UFX and Ableton Live

Hello,

Among other software, I am using Live 8.3 4 on Max OS 10.6.8.
I have a problem with UFX when I add a new audio hardware output in the Audio Preferences.

1) go to audio preferences
2) select an unused output
3) go to the mixer view and select this output on a track
4) Play a clip: the large track meter show signal, but not the small meter located in the output selection menu. There is no sound output.
5) Save session, quit Live and relaunch session
6) play a clip: the output works correctly.

I would like to know if any user has already experienced this kind of problem with RME UFX, with any software. Before, I was using a FireFace 800, and I had not noticed anything like that with Live.

I can try but I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything.

Bitanga has the same problem, with Live 8.3.4 as well.

As I said setting up channels the way you wanted them to be and restarting does the trick.

The problem has vanished with TotalMix 0.989 on OSX.
