Topic: Why does the Babyface not perform well in Loop Back Tests?

I love the Babyface. I think it sounds fantastic. Which is personally why I am disappointed in the results of tests conducted for this review below. Also I don't agree with the reviewer in terms of build quality - my unit is nothing like what he describes.

The third graph has the results of the loop back test comparing various similar interfaces.

Re: Why does the Babyface not perform well in Loop Back Tests?

Old stuff, has been discussed before in this forum and also been changed in production. The bass filter was intentional and did not disturb anyone. The measurement results themself look like they have been done by a questionable software/process that has upset a lot of people and has never been fully explored or explained. The low cut in the Babyface input is totally overweighted in those results.

I wouldn't worry about it, there is a lot more questionable in that review. Like in most reviews...
