i can't put  my soundcard AND my ipad2 together.

The Fireface UC is not compatible with iPad, it does not support CC mode operation. Only the Babyface and Fireface UCX can currently be used as an interface for iPad.

The UC does not have any resources left to add CC mode - that simple.
