Has/can anyone confirm that an FF400 and UCX can be aggregated without issues? and on OSX 10.6 & 10.8

Currently Running OSX 10.6.8 / 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 8GB RAM
Will upgrade to OSX 10.8 in the near future too

Im looking to expand from a FF400 and the UCX would be the perfect one for me.
I'd prefer and will need the option of 2 separate interfaces so the FF800 and UFX are out as their too big really and i'd need to sell the FF400 to fund it.

The only thing i've found from searches is the below...

You would have to connect both via FW (chaining via the FF400): [Computer]>FW>[FF400]>FW>[FFUCX]
or just connect the UCX via USB and the 400 via FW.
The Mac will be able to aggregate both in both cases.
