Hi,
We have a problem with our RME FF800.
Always has been working perfectly until one day our workstation did not detect the FF800 interface.
We tested the following:
- Changed firewire cables,
- We tested all the interface ports (firewire 800 and 400)
- We tested several workstations that was working properly,
- We tried several firewire compatible controllers.
But not detected in any of the ways.

When we connected the FF800 interface:

- The interface is on properly, the analog states LEDs light properly, all normal.
- HOST LED flashes when I turn the interface but then this LED turns off. The HOST red LED is off at all times, connected or not connected to the computer.
- Nothing on the Windows Device Manager (in any form). not appear in our Mac either.
- Not start firefacemix or FIREFACE settings (obviously not detected by the computer)

What is the problem? tsb81ba3 chip (firewire controller)? lost firmware?
Is it possible to do some tests to find the problem?
Have you had a problem like this?

I am very happy with this product. Does anyone know what is happening?
No warranty...
