Topic: Fireface 800 Front panel clip leds flashing issue

Hi,

I've bought a Fireface 800 few weeks ago and I've expected an issue on it.
Sometimes when i power up the FF800, the clips led from the five from the front panels are flashing in red with a weird noise on my monitors. Sometimes it works perfectly but sometimes it make this crash during a session :-/

Somebody has an answer to this problem ?

Is that a used unit? How old? Is there anything connected to the front inputs? Is the gain on minimum?

Hi,
The unit isn't old at all. It is new, she's just 3 weeks old. There is nothing connected to the front imputs and the gain is on the minimum.

The next time I see this issue I'll try to make a video in order to show you the problem.

I recently turned on my FF800 and I too noticed the red clip LEDs on the front panel were flashing while nothing was connected to any inputs, no noise but no sync either. I was curious as to if there was any update in this situation. I do hope this is not a serious issue. In any case, tomorrow I am going to do a more systematic rewire and review of my entire setup, I was just digging around the internet to see if this was a common issue.
