Topic: UFX Turn off and on ?

Hi
Im still getting used to my Ufx.

Should you always turn off your computer before connecting the ufx with the USB cable?.
Or is it ok to connect up and turn on the ufx with the computer still on ? .

FWIW, my computer freaks out if I have the UFX on before the PC.  Will crash when I access total mix.  So, I always start up the UFX after the OS is running.  But, I never remove the cable.

USB can be connected in whatever way you like.

BOWIE, are you sure to be on the latest drivers and firmware?

Thanks for asking.  It was updated when I last used it a couple months back.  About to use it again in my new studio and will look for a new update.
Also, if I switch "users" in Windows between my internet logon and studio logon, Total Mix will crash and glitch the PC if I don't turn off the UFX in between switching users.
