Topic: UFX + Macbook Pro: UFX seems to need "warmup" time

Hi

I'm running Mac OS X v 10.7.5 on a 2011 Macbook Pro 2 GHZ Intel Core i7.
I'm using Pro Tools 9.

I've just upgraded from Fireface UC to UFX. I'm connecting the UFX to the Macbook via USB.

I never had any problems with the UC.

I have the latest drivers and firmware.

The UFX seems to need "warmup" time before I get sound out of any of the outputs.
On startup, the RME Fireface USB settings and Total Mix windows both operate correctly and my Pro Tools sessions operate correctly *EXCEPT, all I get out of either of the headphone outs or the main analog 1 & 2 out is very low output signal that is obviously not right.
After being on for 30-45 minutes the UFX "engages" and I have proper levels and can start my session.

Please advise on how to solve this.

This looks like a hardware issue. If it is reproducible on another system or standalone, then please return the unit for service.
