Topic: Fireface UFX w/ two OctaMic II

I just got a new recording kit that is as follows:

OctaMic II
               ->  Fireface UFX  -> Logic Pro 9
OctaMic II

How will I set this up in order for the clocking to work properly and make sure everything works as expected with 2 x 8 channels (ADAT1 and ADAT2) in 48 kHz?

Is it possible to have the devices 'sync' themselves via the ADAT1 and ADAT2 optical connections, or do i need external clocking via BNC cable?

Hello,

this setup will require a Word Clock connection from the UFX to both Octamics, which need to be set accordingly for sync.
Then connect each Main ADAT output to one of the UFX' inputs.
