Topic: Suggested sound card for running SAC (Software Audio Console)

I am looking at the possibility of using SAC (Software Audio Console) for my FOH and Monitor Mix.  I will need to have a minimum of 32 inputs and 16 outputs.  Which RME sound card would be best suited for this function?

Thanks,
Jan

Typically SAC users choose the HDSPe RayDAT or HDSPe MADI. These are digital only, you need to add the AD/DA converters.

Thank you Jeff.  So the HDSPe RayDat can handle 32 input channels and 16 out's?  Am I correct in assuming that?
I would consider the HDSPe MADI but the price difference is substantial.

Thanks,
Jan

32 in / 32 out via ADAT at 48kHz, plus SPDIF and AES/EBU.
