Topic: PCIe to Express Card 34 adapter

I recently purchased an RME Express Card 34 to work with my laptop and Digiface setup.   I now wish to use my new PCIe desktop.   Will one of the commercially available PCIe card to Express Card 34 adapters work?

I can confirm that they do not work with all pcie chipsets. Had one working with intel pcs but not with amd. Neither amd-fusion e350 with corresponding northbridge nor Phenom x6 with AMD 790GX. But it worked with ALL intel PCs i've tested.
