Topic: Problem with Flash update tool

Hello,

I try to update my Babyface with the Flash update tool but I am unable to update it.
I see only "Programming status: Not Updated"
I dont see a Tap or button to Update it.

When I look the driver I see "input status" but not clear what is the input staus.

Is there a bug or something?

I use Windows 7 - 64 bit

Who can help me?

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

You don't see the "Update" button in the dialog, like in this screenshot here?

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

Hello Daniel,

I try again all what mentioned on the other topic(s) I did I try all settings AERO etc...nothing
but still no luck.
I think its the old lay out get those weird problem.
With other drivers like M-AUdio no problems at all only with RME...

I dont know how to solve this problem.

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

It is definitely not a general problem of the settings and fut window. You have font sizes set to some higher value somehwere. A search on the forum may reveal other potential solutions.

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

It's easy to see: this is not the default font size of Windows. You have set it to large scale in the display settings. Set it to Default scale.

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

Hello, Its finally works. I did Flash my Babyface. Thank you.

Re: Problem with Flash update tool

I had the same problem and found the ”solution” here. I am a software developer myself and I can with certainty say that this is definitely a problem with the fut/settings window. A user should be able to use arbitrary font scaling.

Now, I would be able to oversee this school boy error if it wasn’t for the fact that I need to log off to make the change. Log off again to change it back. At this point all other personalized settings are lost as well.

It should be easier for you to actually fix this than it is for me to go through this process. If you find it difficult to make a window that adapts to its contents then at least enable window resizing.
