Topic: HDSP-Mixer - MIDI control doesn't work

Hi all!
I purchased my first RME audio interface in 2004 (HDSP 9652) and just updated to a HDSPe RayDAT,
cuz my new motherboard doesn't have any PCI-slots. tongue

On my 9652 I used a MIDI-keyboard (Cakewalk A500Pro) to control
the master fader in the HDSP Mixer with no problems what so ever.

Since this RayDAT update, the MIDI-control in the mixer doesn't work though.
I choose the MIDI-ports in preferences and klick ok and also select "Enable MIDI control" from the options menu.

With my 9652 this was all I had to do to get it to work. Now it doesn't work.
And when I open up preferences again the MIDI in and out boxes are blank hmm

Am I missing something?

Thanks!
/Samuel

Haha! Sorry!
Windows 8 64bit
I have the latest drivers. I uninstalled and re-installed them yesterday trying to solve the issue

Open the HDSP mixer as Administrator (right click) and change the setting again. Hopefully it saves its settings now (I had the same problem, and this was the solution).
