Topic: Babyface vs. Ipad 4 - Class Compliant activation

Dear Friends,

I’m unable to connect and install on my Ipad 4 (with Auria DAW) the  Babyface I bought, I’m following all the suggested steps, but the message I receive from the Ipad is still “it is impossible to use this device, the USB device you connected it’s not supported”: it seems it is impossible to activate Class Compliant Mode pressing [select] and [recall] button during boot.

I read on some web pages that Babyface support CC since FW rel. 201, but I can not check it on my unit: nor FW release, nor lot/week of production, the only information I have is the serial no. 23479979.

The question I submit is
Could I flash my Babyface to the latest FW using a Windows PC (I've not a Mac) or am I obliged to flash it by an Apple OsX device?

Many thanks for your prompt reply, I've just updated my BF to FW 203 by a Win XP pc and now it runs!

My unit had a factory firmware rel. 176....
