Hello RME community,

Im using a windows based DAW with Motu Hardware (PCI-424 and HD192).
Worked without problems for years now - though I can NOT say Im a fan of the Motu company...
I always wanted to move to RME, but their Hardware just didnt seem to fit my needs.
Im about to move to windows 64bit system - so I have to upgrade my Hardware (the PCI-424 card) or might as well move to RME now.

A few questions:

1. Is USB 2.0 capable to handle 16x in/out at 24bit/44.1kHz without problems?

2. Shall I wait for USB 3.0 Interfaces? Or rather plug a Firewire card into my PC?

3. Which RME Interface would you recommend to replace my HD 192 (12 in/out XLR, usefull meter display)?
