Topic: Connecting LYNX Aurora 16 with HDSPe AES=mpossible to find AES cable?

I could not imagine it would be this hard to find a cable to connect the two devices, does any one know where to buy a good quality AES cable that will work with this setup? what brand and model ? They are different format.

Your RME dealer or distributor will be happy to provide you with ALVA cables.

Thank you. Finally a solution. But the very word "adapter" does give me a feeling of anxiety.
will the sound signal be 100% even with these Adapters ? Hope you understand my concern...considering
how much I put in money on the other side of the chain..Mogami cables etc.

AFAIK adapter with these cables means that the pin out and in is correct. So no change in signal.

Alright good. to hear...what about Jitter noise and all that ?
Is these adapters likely to create jitter nosie ?

And could some one explain to me which of the two adapter cable I should buy ?
And what other AES cable do I need to buy ?
I did read something about the some AES cable have different OHM ?
well it is important that everything match...

I think this one will work WITHOUT any adapter probably better solution and cheaper.

Obviously these are just cables with the correct pinout on each side. And as they adapt Tascam to Yamaha units the word 'adapter' is correctly used. A cable RCA to TRS is also called 'adapter cable'...
