Topic: UFX simultaneous optical and aes spdif input/output

I am using Cubase 7.
I have set up my voicelive 2 as a send effect using the AES/EBU to coaxial I cables have made. This are working fine.
I have my mic going into a focusrite ISA220 and connected to the UFX via the optical input on adat 2.
However I cannot seem to get both the devices working at the same time.
Can anyone help please?

You can only use one at a time.
