Topic: back to the analogue domain

Hi there

HeadScratch
I wonder if there's a plan at RME to rework the Quadmic, in order to match that of the best analogue design from the UCX/UFX pres

and by the way give it a more fancy front panel with black anodized knobs, a possible ganging of the four channels to support for ambisonic dependent channels, XLR output connectors with a switch for disconnecting the unit ground frame from pin 1 whenever required

12Vdc powering still maintained for operating from LiOn or car batteries

and that's all for the moment :-)

Apart of that, nothing to report else reliability and satisfaction with my  RME stuff cool

Re: back to the analogue domain

Hi Fidel,

I second your wishes, and add the Octamic to that refresh list. Ganging shouldn't be very hard to achieve in the software domain with those PG2500 chips IMHO.

Octa / Quad
same upgrade, sure

by the way, nice to read you here Jean-Michel, a place where RME stuff is evaluated at the right point from user's feedback as it should be :-)
