I have bough new RME UCX USB/Firewire Interface, just two months back.
My output chain has : RME routed to Genelec 8040 A ( PM )

I am getting exessive bass kicking in at low volumes also, which does not let me turn the volume knob more. ( if u understand what i am trying to say )
I thought it might be Genelecs but I have experienced the same when i use my sennheiser Studio Monitors ( HEAD SETS ) ( HD 240 Pro ). When I turn on the Phone volume ( Output 7/8 ), they start shaking on my ears with the BASS Response. I don't reckon that Genelecs have the problem, by the looks of it.

I am quite new to this field. Please share your comments. ( I know i can cut the case from Total Mix FX, but just want to know if it is normal to get that much ).
