Topic: TWO AES cable in one (Y cable) do they exist ?

The problem: I only have one 16 channel AES port on my RME HDSPe AES card, but on my LYNX Aurora, I only get 8 channels per port.

Does it exist a cable which has two ports in the other end and one port in the other for the RME, so I can get all 16 channels into one port on my RME HDSPe AES.

IF there exist no Y cable of this kind, would it exist an non-destructive adapter which makes two aes cables into one 16 channel

I want to be able to use all 16 channels of my Lynx Aurora.
Unfortunately the Lynx only send 8 channels per AES port.
And the RME HDSPe support 16 channels per port.
But I only have one port, one for inputs and one for outsputs. How to solve this ?

Re: TWO AES cable in one (Y cable) do they exist ?

Your description seems wrong. The AES card has two D-sub connectors, each connector has 8 channels in and 8 channels out. If the Lynx uses a different D-sub pinout then there will be a passive adapter cable, as the signals (AES) are identical.
