Topic: My UFX emits crackle on it`s own

Hi ,

my UFX started crackling today. When nothing is playing thru it and all inputs and outputs muted, it gives of a crackle not unlike vinyl. not a stactic repeating sound, more of a little click here and there, maybe one or 2 seconds apart.

I`ve not changed anything anywhere in my rig, it just started doing it.

Any advice appreciated!

2012 Mac Mini, Logic Pro 9.1.8 64-bit , totalmix usb 0.989 driver, firmware v352 , Driver v1.78

What happens when you disconnect it from the computer?

Unplugging the USB cable fixed it! Thanks.
Even with the computer and everything else turned of the problem was there. But unplugging the cable fixed it.
