Topic: MIDI Issue with Fireface UFX (MIDI 2 (in/ouhavt not showing)

Hello

I am having a problem regarding MIDI port 2 (In & Out) of the Fureface UFX
I am using Cubase 7.0.3 and the UFX, I have updated the Firmware & the Drivers USB & FW of the UFX
I can see the MIDI port 1 (in & out) in Cubase but not MIDI port 2 (in & out) am I doing something wrong?
When I go to Device Setup in Cubase I can only see MIDI 1

What should I do to have both MIDI 1 & 2 showing?

In cae you use XP: Update to Windows 7. XP has limitations in channel count and numbers of MIDI ports.

Thanks Mathias but I am usine Win7 Sp1 this Is why I don't understand it doesn't show

I am using the UFX ni FireWire with this DAW

Check with a dfifferent tool (freeware MIDI stuff) that all MIDI ports are there. If so then you might have too many (other) MIDI ports in your system, confusing Cubase.

I am very surprised it does not work as I only have the UFX and the MIDIport of the Yamaha K8 Master Keyboard ref as
Fireface Midi Port 1 In Active
Yamaha KX1 In Active (Through USB connection)
Yamaha KX2 In Active (Through USB connection)
Yamaha KX3 In Active (Through USB connection)
I can try with MIDI Yoke if I got something
