Topic: Digicheck crash on win7 64bit

Hi,

Had to do a bit of maintenance on my computer today, and when all was sorted it happened that Digicheck wouldn't work anymore, crashing just after loading.
Tried to update to 551 but same problem, with any other version also.
Drivers of my Multiface 2 + HDSP9652 up to date, firmware too.

Any idea ? HeadScratch

Not a known issue - what kind of maintenance did you do, hardware or software?

Thanks for your answer.
I did a bit of both, I had a HDD I think that was about to crash, and removed it.
Digicheck temp recording folder was on that HDD, but before removing it I changed the path for that folder to a C/mydocuments. Don't know if that helps.
Then I had a few bugs and did some reg cleaning with some softwares. Installed and removed digicheck a few times with different versions, drivers update..etc

No idea of what I could try to get DC to work again ? I feel so disabled without that tool..

All back to normal !! :-)
After some tweaks again I would come to load cubase and it wouldn't find the ASIO drivers of the RME anymore...
I suspected something very funny here and I removed RME devices + drivers from the windows hardware panel.
Installed all back up to date, and magically DC worked again .. woot woot... impressive how difficult it is to live without it!
