Topic: Micstacy-pciMADI 192KHz problem

Hi

I have a Micstasy with firmware 2.0 and a PCI-MADI card with hardware revision 205
and driver version 3.05.6.

There seems to be 2 problems.

1. running the pci madi card (without connecting the micstasy)as marster (192khz), makes the audio
pitch a couple of octaves deeper. at 96khz everything is fine.

2. Connecting the micstasy to the pci madi card (being the master), now strange things happen.
by watching the Hammerfall DSP settings window while changing the clock speed on the micstasy.
44.1/48/88.2/96 khz are working as expected, by this I mean the AutoSync.Ref.                   show Input=madi, Freq=44.1/48/88.2/96 . But at 192 KHz the Freq. window jump back to 48 khz and 44.1 at 176 khz.
It is like the clock generator inside Micstasy does not support 192 khz or the unit i have is broken.

Re: Micstacy-pciMADI 192KHz problem

Hi,

Do you have the PCI MADI card (like you say) or the PCIe MADI card?

If you have the PCI card the explanation is simple: It do not support 192khz. Only the PCIe version do that...
