Topic: Installation Failure for UCX Driver

Hi, I tried to install the most recent drivers for my new Fireface UCX on my 2.53 GHz INtel Core i5 Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.8. My DAW is a newly installed Pro Tools 10.3.3. This is the first RME driver I have tried to install. When I attempted the installation my computer gave me the following message:

! Installation failed. An unknown installation error occurred.

The driver encountered and error that caused the installation to fail

Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

Do any of you know why I may have encountered this message? Do I need to uninstall the drivers for my Avid Mbox 2 before I install the RME drivers?  Any info you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

There is a new version of the formerly released 1.78. Please redownload and try this one:
