Topic: Running 2 Fireface UC and Microsoft Lifecam HD 3000

If I use my 2 Fireface UC at the same time under Windows 7 my Microsoft Lifecam HD 3000 will not be recognized. Using only one Fireface UC everything works fine. Is this a Windows 7 driver problem?

Is that a USB device? Probably not enough bandwidth for all 3 devices. You may need to add a separate USB controller card for the webcam. Or use one of the UC units in stand-alone mode, acting as an AD/DA converter via ADAT.

Thanks for your quick reply, Jeff. Yes, I know I could use one as an adat converter. But I think it's not a bandwith problem. The webcam uses a different USB controller and has an integrated microphone. If I disable the integrated microphone the webcam works running both Fireface UC.

Did some more testing. You are right, Jeff. It's a bandwith problem :-(
