Topic: RME ADI2 with Edirol fa-101

Hello, I'm trying to connect Rme ADI2 to Edirol fa-101. I am using optical toslink, but can not get Edirol recognize ADI2 RME as master.
In rme ADI2 I have selected the sampling and Edirol also, in the "IN" select coax RME. or optical've tried both options. In the selection RME out "with" but RME is still not recognized as a teacher. I'm thinking about changing sound card, but really i dont know if it is a Edirol problem or what hapend sad

I use RME for audio output to monitors and sometimes I recorded with Adi2 , but I've never managed to be recognized as a teacher.

Please help! sad

There is no "RME section", the one you posted in is about website related topics.

Make sure to set the ADI's output format to "CON". If that does not help, I think you should contact Edirol.

ok thanks so much. The edirol suport dosent help me i sent a lot of emails and one of his answers was that RME adi 2 only works with Spdfi Adat when it is a lie because it works Adat and Optical. sad
