Topic: Multiface as permanent Stand-Alone AD/DA converter

Hi,

is it possible to transform the Multiface into a permanent Standalone AD/DA Converter even on power off without having to upload the firmware and configure the box each time? PC-Express card slots are getting rare and I would like to continue using the hardware.

Thx,
Orm

I have no problem using multiface I when it's connected to the pci card. However, while it's standalone with power adapter (i tried 7 different ones), the host error light is on steady.  Is it broken? I am ultimately adat sync this to m-audio 1814 under win7. I have seen No LOCK light so far.

Re: Multiface as permanent Stand-Alone AD/DA converter

hello I am new to disconnect mode.
PLZ tell me how to set up multiface I in totalmix/digicheck  to work with m-audio 1814 via adat sync?
Ultimately, I like to use the multiface's analog out 1 &2 to GENELEC.
