Topic: HDSPe AES routing wrong channels to Lynx Aurora 16

I recently purchased an HDSPe AES and I am trying to set it up with a Lynx Aurora 16 (also just purchased). However, the channels coming from the card are received by the Aurora incorrectly. This is what it looks like:

Is this happening because I am not using BNC cables and the word outs / ins to communicate the word clock? I am currently using (to my understanding) the Dsub cable to comminucate the clock. This is how my settings look like:

Would this mean that I'd need to buy two BNC cables and (using my Aurora 16 as the master clock) hook up the Aurora's word out to the card's word in, and then the card's word out to the Aurora's word in?

Thanks for the help!

Re: HDSPe AES routing wrong channels to Lynx Aurora 16

You have wrong cabling. RME uses TASCAM pinout for AES/EBU, while the Lynx uses YAMAHA pinout. You'll need a pinout converter or crossover cable to connect the two devices directly.
