Topic: Fireface 400 on new iMac

Hi!

I've been using PC for years and now considering buying the new iMac.
Will my beloved Fireface 400 work on it? If so, do I need some sort of
a converter?

Re: Fireface 400 on new iMac

You'll need a Thunderbolt to Firewire 400 cable and the current Fireface 400 driver for Mac.

And some luck. There have been several reports that the latest TB update broke FireWire on the current 27" iMacs.

Thanks, guys! I was thinking of going for the smaller monitor anyway...
Pardon my ignorance, TB update for the operating system, is it?
What about Windows on the Mac, how do the drivers sit with that?
