Ive had this unit for just long enough for the warranty period to expire and it has been racked in a studio for its whole life. A couple months back i noticed the input 7 level led was flickering randomly even when not in use but had no effect on using this channel and audio appeared to sound fine. Now a month later the whole unit would flash on and off with a high pitch noise and would get dumped from my computer like it was disconnected. I had to turn it off then back on and it would work a little longer to now it just shuts off after a couple minutes.
Running windows 7 and the Fireface has a power line conditioner.
Any ideas on the issue would be welcomed.
