Topic: Documentation on EQs, Dynamics in TotalMixFX

At 44.1 on my UFX I can engage EQs and Dynamics on all 30 input channels with no Reverb.
I can engage 30 EQs, 22 dynamics with reverb.

Both scenarios above leave no processing for output channels.
I noticed that the Reverb uses about 20% of total DSP.

Is there documentation on the total number EQs or Dynamics we can use on UFX, MADIface XT or HDSPeMADIFX?

There is no documentation because the numbers vary depending on how many FX of which kind you use at which sample rate. The numbers that you gave seem typical, though.

Re: Documentation on EQs, Dynamics in TotalMixFX

is the DSP fx usage on UFX optimised as good as it can be or is it possible we may see lower DSP usage with firmware revisions ?

It is already fully optimized.

Hello MC,

I have a few more questions on this topic - does the Madiface XT have much more DSP than the UFX?
In other words would I be able to run more than 30 EQs & Dynamics with the Madiface XT?

It has the same DSP as the MADI FX card.  Around 50% more.
