Topic: Problem downloading drivers to SSD drive

I have a RME RayDat card that I have been using with great success in my Mac Pro. However, I am in the process of moving things over to a SSD from the original SATA boot drive and I am having problems installing the HDSPe driver. I have tried several times, downloading multiple copies from the site (v 3.04) and restarting in between. I tried using Disk Utility to repair disk permissions. No matter what I do I encounter the following error message as the final step in my driver installation:

"There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again.

The installation failed.

An unknown installation error occurred.

The installer encountered an error that cause the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance"

So basically I have a 2009 Mac Pro, 2x2.26 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon. 8 GB 1066 MHz DDR3. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 on the original SATA boot drive (where everything still works) and then I also have 10.6.8 on the new SSD drive (which is where I encounter that error).

Please let me know the best way to proceed or if you need any additional information.

Thanks very much!!
