Topic: filtering on hdspe madi f/w

Does the firmware on the hdspe madi perform any filtering of data passed
to the madi interface?

We are seeing some rolloff (3db @ 6Hz).   Not sure where the filtering is...

In your AD-converter. The MADI does not filter audio data.

When you say MADI, you are referring to the HDSPe MADI F/W?

Yes. The digital inputs of the card do not affect or change the signal in any way, they pass it on bit-transparent. Not at all related to the card's firmware, by the way.
