Topic: HDSPe AIO + Sonnet Thunderbolt Chassis

I know its a weird question... but how would the HDSPe AIO perform in this sonnet tech chassis?

http://www.sonnettech.com/product/echoe … assis.html

Has anyone tried one in one of these?   I mean wouldn't it be cool to have a HDSPe AIO Portable on a mac min with thunderbolt would the card you this still work... I figure there will be a little more latency overhead on the packet transfer over Thunderbolt controller, but wouldn't the card still work?  Wouldn't it be bad ass to add this card to like a mac mini over thunderbolt?  My question is really how would this affect latency? I realize the price would be the same as just buying a UCX anyway in the first place I just want to know if anyone has really tried it and how it affects latency, compared to another computer of the same speed just plugged into pcie

Yes, it is a weird question, as Sonnet lists the card in their compatibility charts because they eventually tested it.

The 'latency' doesn't change at all.

I run the HDSPe_AIO and a UAD Quad in this and it works fine, just a little bit noisy fans.
