Topic: Is Direct monitoring possible using different input than output?

I want to go in to my HDSPe using an 8 channel preamp AES/EBU (Cranesong Spider,) and then monitor through a different device (Metric HAlo ULN-8)
What kind of audio delay am I lookin at? or is it true direct, simply in and out AES/EBU?

The delay in TM can be disregarded. The important delay is the sum of AD and DA delay caused by the converters. Around 2 ms.
