Topic: Octamic XTC shipping problem

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting hold of an OctaMic XTC at the moment - been waiting for the importer to have some in stock, but apparently there is an issue with production at the moment. Do you have any estimate of when these units might begin shipping again?

The XTCs have started shipping again, so should show up soon.

Hi MC,

This is apparently not the case as I haven't been able to get hold of one for a couple of weeks now, and the distributor is unable to give me an idea of when they will be back in stock. Do you know when you expect them to be available?

'Started shipping' is not the same as 'available at the dealer'. Please be patient.

Unfortunately, patience is a luxury I can't afford too much of - I need to make decisions in order to have equipment for work coming up in the next couple of weeks. Would it be possible to have some transparency on what the problem is with these units? I'm being told by distributors that the XTC has not started shipping and they have no information from RME on when this will happen. It's not a problem if they aren't available; I can just buy a different device - but simply to have an idea of stock availability would be very helpful.
