I'm looking for help or documentation regarding the MADI assignment method. I mean is there a easy way to know how the input and output are distributed on the bus?
I have a MADI HDSPe Cards with two optical loops. First one with a Micstasy and ADI 642 and a second one with two SSL Alpha-Link MX 16-4 4-16.

I want to find easily which input of the ssl are on which MADI channel. I'm not sure to understand the way it work.

I have found the input output of all the device by sending a signal in it. Except for the ADI642 because when i send audio signal i have for exemple input 1 blinking (on the ADI642) when i send audio signal on the output channel 92 to 100 of the MADI (input 2 ion ADI, channel out 101 to 108 on totalmix etc...)

I'm going on google all around since a few days but i found nothing really clear on that particular subject.

I'm jus looking to a easy way to know how the input output of the device are seen on the MADI bus.

Also i rename the channel when i found one on total mix and i remove the one not in use. But when i go in the input output of logic i still have all the input with no name or MADI 1 to MADI 194 two time... A nightmare of you want to organise everything...

MADI look to be powerfull but really not user-friendly
